Catering & Food at our Cambridge Location
Food is an excellent companion to paddling. Some of our favorite local restaurants are listed below. You can arrange the catering yourself for your event so you can confer directly with the caterer regarding menu selections.
Most of our locations have a waterfront picnic area available for group use. Learn more about picnicking at our Cambridge location!

Just a two minute walk from our Dock, Dig offers healthy fast-casual bowls, vegetables, and comfort food. See their online menu

Aceituna Café
Located 100 yards from our dock, Aceituna offers Lebanese/Middle Eastern “fast food” with many vegetarian options. Both sit-down and take-out are available, so it’s perfect for a picnic or pre-/post-paddle snack. Open for lunch and dinner, Monday – Saturday.
Redbones Barbeque
A very popular Davis Square restaurant serving authentic, downhome-style Southern food. Menu includes standard barbeque favorites like ribs, chicken, pulled pork, and more.

Registration/Cancellation Policy for Catering Orders
- All food orders require pre-payment in full.
- Food orders cancelled at least 7 days before the event receive either a refund of the deposit less a 10% registration fee, or a full credit to a store account. This credit does not expire and may be used for instruction, rentals, or purchases at Charles River Canoe & Kayak, Weston Ski Track, or Skate @ Canal District Kendall.
- For all cancellations made less than 7 days before the event, no refunds or credits will be issued.

Champions Sports Bar
Restaurant and sports bar located in the Cambridge Marriott. Watch your favorite sports team on one of 20 flat-screen TVs. A great place for a post-paddle beverage, appetizer, or dinner. Thursday nights: all-you-can-eat BBQ on the patio!

Summer Shack Clambake-on-Wheels

Rebecca's Café
Catering and sit-down dining in a number of locations. They offer a wide variety of soups, sandwiches, wraps, a daily hot entree, and a daily vegetarian special. Sit-down and take-out available in their Kendall Square Cafe, so it's perfect for a picnic or pre-/post-paddle snack at our Cambridge location, and they also have a catering location near our Newton Boathouse.
