Walking Directions

From Assembly Row (MBTA orange Line)

Exit the station and make a right on Great River Road. Make a left at the Winter Hill Yacht Club. Follow the river walk past Sylvester Baxter Park towards the Fellsway. Enter the boardwalk on your right under the Fellsway. You will then be on Shore Drive. Make a right on Shore Drive and continue on the river walk to the boat house.

Driving Directions

From Boston

Take I- 93 North. Take exit 29 toward MA-28 S/MA-38 S/Somerville/Medford. Continue straight to stay on MA-38 N. Take your second right onto Shore Dr. The boathouse will be be on your left.

From the North

Take I-93 South. Take exit 30 for MA-38/Mystic Avenue toward Medford/Somerville. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for MA-38 S/Rt 28 Somerville. Turn left onto MA-38 S/Mystic Ave. Turn left onto Shore Dr. The boathouse will be on your left.

Parking Information

Parking at the Blessing of the Bay Bouthouse

Limited Blessing of the Bay boat house parking is available. When the parking lot is full there is 2 hour street parking located along Shore Drive, across from the boathouse.

Parking at Torbert MacDonald Park – 15 min walk

Free Parking
Enter the river path on the left side of the parking lot next to the State Police Station. Stay left on the path and exit on the Fellsway. Take a right on the Fellsway and cross the bridge. Take a right onto Shore Drive. and follow the river walk to the boathouse.

Parking at Draw Seven State Park – 10 min walk

$1.25 for 1 Hr and +$1.25 for every extra hour; No time limit
Head North on Noonan Place. Make a left under the bridge. Winter Hill Yacht Club will be on the right. Follow the river walk past Sylvester Baxter Park towards the Fellsway. Enter the boardwalk under the Fellsway. You will come out on Shore Drive. Make a right on Shore Drive. Follow the river walk to the boat house.
