Rent a boat for July 4th to get the best seat for the Boston fireworks! Reservations are required.
Launch from and return to our Boston location on Soldier’s Field Road in Allston/Brighton on the night of the fireworks. The boat must be returned by 1am on July 5. You’ll paddle about 4 miles (~1.5 hours) to the fireworks. Or you can launch from and return to our Cambridge location in Kendall Square on the night of the fireworks. The boat must be returned by 11:30PM on July 4. You’ll paddle about 5 minutes to the fireworks. You can take a double kayak, canoe, or single kayak, bring your friends! From either location, you can paddle close enough to hear the Pops concert at the Hatch Shell and get amazing views of the Boston fireworks.
You may also be interested in our guided 10-person canoe option. We’ll take a short paddle tour around the Charles River Basin, seeing the Museum of Science, old locks, and Longfellow Bridge. We’ll then head towards the Museum of Science for a great view of the fireworks away from the crowds. The tour includes light food, desserts, and non-alcoholic beverages. Our stable and fast Rabaska canoes seat up to 10 paddlers and provide the perfect platform to view the fireworks. Come alone and experience the camaraderie under the purview of our experienced guide, or bring a bunch of friends and fill a whole boat!
